I speak to small and large groups about a myriad of health and wellness topics.  I have spoken to a local WELCA group, NAPUS State Convention, Lexington's Grand Generation Center and the State of Nebraska Dental Hygienist’s convention.  I have taught a wide variety of USPS and community education training courses for 30 years.

In 2014, I collaborated with my granddaughters to write a book entitled JUST BE.  The book can be purchased at amazon.com and also in my massage studio.  Click here to learn more about JUST BE.

Essential Oils & Aromatherapy

I stock Aura Cacia and Amrita brand essential oils in my massage studio.  I have a variety of therapeutic oils, room sprays, and diffusers available for purchase.

Biomat

My massage clients love the experience of having a Biomat on my massage table.  A Biomat produces far-infrared heat which is transmitted through a layer of amethyst crystals to produce negative ions. This adds therapeutic value to the massage session. Click here to learn more about the healing properties of the Biomat.  I can order a Biomat for you to use at home.

Myofascial Release and Myofascial Stretching

I believe in the power of myofascial release and myofascial stretching.  I've had great results with the following self-help techniques.  If you experience tightness and muscle pain, I'd recommend purchasing the book from the Denver Myofascial Institute.  See link below to purchase the book.  I have the small inflated balls for sale at the clinic.

Myofascial Stretching is a unique self-treatment technique that follows the principles of Myofascial Release (MFR) as developed by John F. Barnes, PT. It results in a permanent lengthening of the body's connective tissue and can dramatically improve health and quality of life. The techniques employ sustained pressure using a small inflated ball and active elongation into restrictions in the fascia. These two methods complement each other. This book was written for both the layperson who has chronic pain, muscular tightness and/or postural dysfunction and for clinicians to give their patients for home exercise programs. It will benefit anyone with pain or tightness. It can also eliminate many of those aches and pains that you were told are part of the "normal" aging process and you just need to live with. Maybe you don't!
